Your Zagora excursion programme
Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora
8 am: Departure from Riad Hermès in Marrakech, crossing the breathtaking landscapes of the High Atlas.
12 pm: Lunch break at your leisure in Ouarzazate, known as “the gateway to the desert”. Take the opportunity to explore this fascinating town and its surroundings.
2 pm: Back on the road towards Zagora.
5 pm: Arrival in Zagora in time to watch a spectacular sunset at the edge of the desert.
5.30 pm: An unforgettable camel ride (1 hour 30 minutes) to the desert camp.
7 pm: Traditional dinner in a Berber tent, followed by an evening around the campfire and a magical night in a bivouac under the stars.
Day 2: Zagora – Aït-Ben-Haddou – Marrakech
8 am: Traditional Moroccan breakfast at the camp.
9 am: Return by camel to Zagora (1 hour 30 minutes), a final immersion in the atmosphere of the desert.
Return journey to Marrakech with an exceptional stop at Aït-Ben-Haddou, the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch on site at your leisure.
